FAQ

  • Do I need any prior experience?

    Nope! This course is designed for beginners, the somatic-curious and those new to trauma-informed body-based approaches.

  • Is this therapy?

    No, this course is educational and experiential, but is not a substitute for psychotherapy. It can be an excellent compliment to other healing work, or alongside the work you may do with a somatic practitioner or psychotherapist.

  • What is the general time commitment per week?

    There is approximately 20-30 minutes of educational and experiential video, dripped per week after access. Alongside you'll receive reflective prompts to journal about your process. This may be an additional 10-30 minutes, depending on the person. All somatic skills are designed to be slowly experienced and integrated into your day to day, eventually becoming an embodied lifestyle.

  • What if I get overwhelmed during the course?

    The structure of the course is trauma-sensitive, however you are always invited to move through the course at your own pace, pausing when needed, and listen to your body and needs.
